I had a friend who went through it at 42. She didn’t know what was wrong with her. That’s the earliest I know of. As a general rule, the older you are when you get your period, the earlier you will go through menopause.

it can vary from women to women but i would say late 40′s early 50′s, providing you don’t have some underlying hormonal abnormalities going on.

a friend of mine went through it when she was 20. it was a very scary moment, especially when you’re still too young to think about wanting children. She said it was one of the hardest moments of her life. But I mean, I case like that is severely rare, and it normally happens in your early to mid 40s

it depends on heredity. on my mom’s side it hits in the early to mid 50′s, but on my dad’s side it hits mid to late 30′s. it depends on your family and when the other women started thier menopause. i could start anywhere from now (i’m 34) til my 50s because of my family history.

Early or premature menopause is one that occurs before a woman is 40, whether it is natural or induced. The symptoms are similar to those of natural menopause – hot flashes, sleep problems, feeling emotionally upset, dryness of the vagina and often a loss of interest in sex. They can range from hardly noticeable to debilitating.
Women in premature menopause have an increased risk of bone breakage due to osteoporosis as their bones get start getting thinner earlier.
