Are you talking about HCG - Human chorionic gonadotropins? It's the injection that is given right before embryo transfer in IVF. I've had them, the vial was about $96 back 15 years ago. If you're talking about Metrodin or Pergonal -- our insurance covered them, but it was also about $100 a vial at the pharmacy. I have PCOS and did get pregnant from IVF. In hindsite, I always got pregnant while I was losing weight or had lost a lot of weight. Talk to your OB/Gyn -- you'll get a lot of info from RESOLVE.org - the infertility website.

For info on the pricing of medications - go to RXList.com and type in the drug (generic or brand) and it will give you the cost per dose/Rx.

Good luck, and feel free to write if you have any other infertility questions -- I've walked that road. :)
