The average is 40-50 but I have known of women to begin their menopause in their late 30s!

I’m pretty sure you can start to be menopausal at any age… but late 40s is average i’d say… anything before then is something you should see a doctor about

There’s no set age, just like there’s no set age for getting your first period. My dad’s mom was 35. My mom was in her 50′s. I believe you can buy an over the counter kit to test yourself if you’re concerned or talk to your doctor.

some people get menopause early, like 40.. some don’t have it yet until 60.. some women get all sad about it because it makes them feel like they are old now, some feels happy cuz it means no more periods.. it depends.. my mom didn’t get it yet until last year, she is 49 years old..

most women start in the 50′s but i’ve heard of women in their early 40′s starting.
if you suspect you are menopausal.
talk to your doc.

Perimenopause is when your normal female functions start changing, getting erratic, etc., 45 to 47 is the average age although it can start as early as 35. Actual menopause is when you haven’t had a period for one whole year, and that can occur anywhere between age 51 to 55 although some women have gone as late as 57. (Please don’t ask me why I happen to know this, I’m still in denial, lol.)

The age varies for every woman. Some can begin very early on. Some as early as the thirties. Around age fifty is average for most women. I was menopausal at age 44. So that was pretty early. You can have your hormone levels checked by your dr. to be sure. That’s what I did because I didn’t expect that it was menopause at the time.

My mum’s doctor told her the average was at about 50, but it varies. Most people would get it from 45 to 55, but I’ve heard some extreme cases of women having it in their 20s! Very rare but it happens, last yr my friend’s dr thought she might be starting it at 24, but thankfuly it wasn’t the case
