    Actually, the average age is 11-13 so you’re perfectly normal. I started when I was 9 — that’s starting young.

    I don’t know if that has anything to do with onset of menopause, though.

    Not necessarily. Ask older family members their ages for starting menstruation and menopause to get an idea.

    About 30 after you get your period you start menopause. But you don’t worry–by that time you’ll be ready to stop!

    God I hope not because I would be in the same boat.

    I believe that every woman is born with a set amount of eggs, but the amount differs with every woman so I think that menopause, regardless of when you started menstuating, is different for every woman.

    You do not get menopause when you turn 30. You should get it around the age of 50 no matter how old you started your period. My aunt is 55 and she still has her period.
