Any abnormal bleeding after not having a period is cause for concern. Sometimes, it’s nothing, other times it can mean all kinds of stuff. Go see you Doctor. Abnormal Menopausal bleeding needs to be checked out. You usually aren’t considered menopausal until a year after your last period. Same thing happened to me, I was 14 months with no period, then there it was. I got another exam, and was watched for a while. Not a big deal. Sometimes the doctor will do an endometrial biopsy..this is taking a small sample of the blood from your uterus and having it checked for abnormal cells.
Call the doctor. Better safe than sorry. Oh,and I never had any more bleeding or any trouble since.
Good luck

yes, a period once in a while is normal until your body has fully run its course in menopause.
