i myself am take pride in Staying healthy, But The Temptation When you Pass a open Bag of Chips to take some is Murder(what you need to do is just Eat A normal 3 Meals a day(Veggies,Some meat, Grain all that good stuff, and you should not hunger for that Temptation, Or You could ask your Doctor for some dietary pills or get some from the food store, But when your on “the pill”, Eat normal, 3 meals a day Cause, One of my friends told me when he was on it he never felt hungry so if your on it eat a Good amount(Healthy food), And the Reasons people shy away from healthy eating is because the first time you lay your hands on something salty,Sweet,Sour, Whatever your body starts craving It like a drug, Same effect as Drugs but on a lower scale

The hardest part is variety. I found that buying cook books geared towards healthy eating have helped. Other than that, I like to eat healthy..I just feel better overall.

It’s hard for me because I don’t have much say in what food our family gets. I would eat healthier if it was cheaper.

Staying hydrated by drinking water. I drink so much coffee, there is little room to eat or drink anything beneficial to my health.

Variety, taste and the harder the meal is to prepare the harder it is to stay on track. Also if the meal in a magazine or cookbook does not have the nutritional breakdown of calories, fat, protein and carbs then I move onto a different recipe that does.

April last year I started on a new nutrition plan given to me by my personal trainer. The first few weeks were really hard and it took a lot of effort to stay the course. But then I started seeing results and I knew it was good. The better the results the more motivation to stay on. Of course I falter a little and that is ok. I eat 90% of my meals a week within my nutritional guidelines.
My guidelines are: 5 meals a day on average between 350-450 calories per meal following a 50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat ratio.

The key for me was to find a few really good, tasty, easy meals that I could count on. Also know that 3 oz of protein, 1-2 cups of vegetables and 1 cup of rice/potatoes or a piece of bread is alway my go-to.
    Good luck

Buying fresh ingredients. I’m not home enough to buy a lot of fresh fruit and veg to leave in the fridge, because half the time it ends up going bad because I won’t be home for a while, but then buying fresh food every day becomes a hassle.

The thing that sabotages my diets is temptation, my partner has a sweet tooth and will bring home chocolate or bake cakes and offer me some, or going out its hard to resist that coffee, beer, or big pub meal
